IPOH days~

Right, as I promised, so here's the post! (;

Okay, I'm going to cut short a lot since the pictures had already been uploaded into FB ages ago. :P

So on Day One, we headed to JB to board the coach. We took the Big Red Flower bus a.k.a Sri Maju. Lol. Before we board the bus, we ate our breakfast cum early lunch which is Mac! Yups and the Mac there is super cheap de lor~

That above family breakfast box was shared by 4 of us (Myself, Laura, Vera and Shawn)! And I remembered it was less than RM20? :/

After breakfast was a long journey to the west my mother's parents house which is in Ipoh. From around 9.30/10.30am we set off and when we finally reached our destination, it was already 7pm? When we got off from the coach, we had to take a small bus further in.

And bad luck, it was raining super heavily! All of us were drenched even though we had umbrellas with us. -_- Bathed once we reached. Lol and we bathed together! Supposedly only me and my sister, Laura together then that Vera Lim scare bathe alone want tag along with us. >.< Even though we are family, still, it was rather embarrassing de lor.

At night, we played the mini MJ tiles that Vera had brought along with her.

Went to bed quite early since the next morning we wanted to have breakfast at the food center. And lucky I wore my track-pant to sleep. If not my legs would be tattooed by those mozzies!

Day Two!

Had our yummy breakfast which is super cheap like again... Less than SGD2 and you can get a plate of wanton mee/ noodles soup/ fried kway tiao! Seriously shiok! Their kopi ice and teh ice also gao gao eh. Unlike Singapore de thin thin and so little luh.

After the breakfast, we took another route back and there were many fruits trees to look at! We went to pluck some rambutans on the way back! Not enough for us, we went to pluck mangosteens just right beside my waipo's house!

Out of curiosity and boredom, we sprayed ourselves with insect repellent and headed to the backyard. Retrieved some durians on the ground but my waigong said none could be eaten. AWW! :(

Rejected durians above! :( Entertained ourselves with aeroplane chess this time! Really funny and exciting to play back this childhood game again. Kept playing it again and again. Lol.

We entertained ourselves with that till dinner time. Decided to have mee fen kway. I like the clear soup. Really nice. Craving for it now.

Right, that somehow summed up Day Two.

Day Three!

We set off to Jusco which is like a hypermart in Ipoh I guess? Anyway it was a terrible long wait for the bus to come under the scorching sun! :@

And when we reached there, disappointment! The shops inside the mall was pathetic and there wasn't much to shop! The only place that we have fun grabbing things off the shelves is from Jusco a.k.a NTUC. -_-

Anyway before that, we headed for Pizza Hut for lunch! And yes I know is rare, I treat them! Quite cheap actually! We had like soups, bread sticks, pizzas, drinks and total bill only came up to...

RM 62.40; ~SGD32! Cheap not you say for the 5 of us?!

Dinner time was at my cousin's bf restaurant. Not those high class restaurant luh. Those zhu cha kind of restaurant~

Don't know what to drink and my cousin picked for us this signature lime drink! Very different from what I had tasted before in the past. This is seriously nice! There's like jelly pieces inside? ;D I didn't took any photos of the food which is so wasted! One of their signature fish is omg de super freaking nice! Especially the sauce! You can just eat plain rice with that sauce!

Oh yes yes, she has a dog too! Which looks like a lion! See for yourself in the below pic!

Right?! Lion isn't it?! And is so cute right?! Lol. Noisy dog too once it sees its daddy; cousin's bf, it kept barking!

My cousin's long hair can fight with my restaurant manager's hair already! Power pack!

So after dinner, cousin's bf drove us back my mother's parents' house! It was just like 20-30mins ride back! And we took more than 1 hour to get to that shopping mall Jusco! -_-

Back home, there's another feast for us! DURIANS this time! *drools*

As it was our last night there, we began to take photos for memories sake...

Didn't really interact with them much as I don't know how to speak Cantonese! T.T Just kept smiling to them and using Mandarin to reply them. :x Lol!

Last Day!

And for the last day, there's also durians waiting for us! Cause my waigoing knows that we loves durians!!! <3

While me and Vera were enjoying our durians, Laura was there eating the rambutans that we had plucked from peoples' trees after our breakfast the morning!

And soon enough, mini van came to pick us up to get to the coach! Bade goodbye and zoomed~ We set off back to Singapore...

Oh yes I forgot to mention that we grabbed all the super rings in Jusco! No thanks to... Vera Lim! *claps* Evidence found below!

Along the way in the coach, my mom acts like a tour guide pointing out to different scenery and telling us what is this and that~ F.O.C service huh.

The journey back to Singapore was much faster than we first went. And I managed to smuggle back bubble gums! But was caught for one bottle of chewing gum! Had to let them copy my name. Sway~

Heading to Genting + KL for this whole week hence the rush of this post. Appreciate it okay! (: I know I will miss certain peoples! So yeah, miss me too okay peoples? <3
